Did you know that Aster is derived from a Greek word which means star? Yes!
The White Heath Aster or Frost Aster are so gorgeous. I can’t help but get inspired to write a poem and read more about it.
White Heath Aster is a wildflower that can be found in Northern America and Souther Europe.
Its has a lot of medicinal purposes including reviving an unconscious person.
Its flowers are said to be edible and can be used in making salads, soups, and tea. Its can also be added to produce herbal steam.
In my poem for the White Heath Aster, I want to emphasize the declining population of bees. Some of the main reason for the bees’ diminishing numbers are the pesticides, climate change and diseases.
Let us help our little pollinator friends to survive by avoiding the unnecessary use of pesticides.
Poem written by Salvacion Roselle Reyes.
