Did you know that the Lily of the Valley is the National Flower of Finland? Yes! It is also the floral emblem of Yugoslavia. France celebrates Lily of the Valley every May 1st, it is also known as La Fete du Muguet.

The poem above is based on the legend about the Lily of the Valley and the nightingale.

Lily of the Valley symbolizes motherhood, happiness, purity, love, joy, and luck.

Be cautious in handling this flower because it contains glycoside that cab affect your health. The glycosides can cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and irregular heart rhythm, which can be very dangerous.

I hope you liked the poem and found some of the information helpful.
