This picture book is quite a challenge for me. I need to make sure that in every illustration of Gigi, the girl had to look like Gigi. I was fortunate to have Gigi, my friend; Myrlande’s daughter, to be my model for this picture book. She was as excited as I was in having this book completed. We even had a wonderful time having our pictures taken wearing our Monarch butterfly costumes, so I can have a good image of her to help me illustrate. I included a few of the photos in the book for you to see.
