The Nightingale is also called Common Nightingale. It is a small brown bird with a reddish tail and Buffy white underpart, but listen to this common-looking bird because it carries ab extraordinary melody. This bird usually sings at night to attract a female bird.

The Nightingale is one of the common muses of poets.

I used several literature titles in my poems to highlight how the common nightingale was hailed by famous artist.

Below is the list of the titles I used in the poem.

  1. Let Nature Sing – is a British songbird single, mixed by Adrian Thomas, Sam Lee, and Bill Barclay for the Royal Society for Protection of Birds.
  2. The Waste Land – a poem written by T.S. Eliot
  3. Philomela – is a character from Greek Mythology about nightingale.
  4. Metamorphoses – a poem by Ovid
  5. The Owl and the Nightingale – is a poem written by an unknown Poetin the twelfth or thirteenth century according to Wikipedia.
  6. The Pastoral Symphony – a composition by Ludwig van Beethoven
  7. When The Nightingale Sings – a poem written by an unknown author after Normandy Conquest in 11th Century.

I hope you enjoyed reading my poem. Have a great day!
