Remembering my mother makes me smile, laugh, and cry all at once. I still hear her voice calling me at 2 a.m., forgetting we lived in different time zones, just wanting to be close to me. I remember the meals she lovingly prepared and brought to my school so I would never go hungry. I remember the greatest sacrifice of all—how she gave up her home so I could chase my dreams and take my NCLEX.

Your love and sacrifices immeasurable. A year has passed since you left this world, but not a day has passed that you have left my heart. You live on in every memory, every prayer, and every quiet moment when I miss you.
