Hyacinth is one of the flowers that blooms in March. According to the Greek mythology, Apollo and Hyacinthus were playing the discus when the jealous Zephyr changed the direction of the wind to make the discus hit Hyacinthus on the head which caused his death.  Apollo was devastated and turned Hyacinthus into a flower.

Hyacinth is a symbol of jealousy, desire for forgiveness, joy, sincerity, death and rebirth.

I hope you enjoyed my short poem. Have an enjoyable month of March.
